• 40,000 lb. die is crane-loaded to transfer car which delivers the die into the splitter
• Magnetic clamping in rams secures top half of die and splits the tool
• Once split, the lower die half is removed on transfer car for servicing
• The ram & upper die rotate 180-degrees and lowers inverted top half for service access
• Top half can be serviced in the splitter or removed on a transfer car for remote servicing
• Reassembly is completed by reversing this sequence
